What is e-liquid?

E-liquid is a solution of propylene glycol (PG) and/or vegetable glycerin (VG), optional nicotine amounts, and food-grade flavourings. The solution vaporizes when heated and translates flavour and throat hit when inhaled to simulate smoking.

What's the difference between nicotine & tobacco?

Nicotine and tobacco are very different things. Tobacco in traditional cigarettes is dried leaves that contain nicotine naturally. Nicotine as a liquid which is extracted from many different sources and then added into a PG/VG base along with flavourings. Even tomatoes contain small amounts of nicotine!

Who should not vape?

Nicotine affects the body like caffeine--it's a stimulant and constricts the blood vessels. If you are pregnant or have any other condition which may be affected by PG, VG, nicotine, or food flavourings, see your doctor first. A small portion of the population is allergic to PG but it is very rare.

What if I get e-liquid on my hands/clothes?

Our e-liquid is water soluble and easily washes off your hands and clothes. If you rub your eye after handling e-liquid, flush it thoroughly with cool water. Be sure to keep e-liquid away from children and pets as it can be dangerous if ingested

How is nicotine measured in e-liquid?

Nicotine is measured in milligrams (mg) per milliliter (mL). Compared to mg per cigarette, you will take in much less nicotine while vaping but still feel satisfied.

How much nicotine do I want?

Choose a strength based on comfort in your throat ("throat hit") when inhaling. If you're vaping too high, your throat will be irritated or you will cough. If you're directly inhaling, even 0mg will make you cough.

Roughly, we can guess at a strength based on the cigarettes you smoke. For an ultra light smoker, 3-6mg is usually comfortable. If you smoke full flavour, 18mg is generally just right. But this formula does not always hold true. That's why is best to try the different nicotine levels before buying e-liquids in bulk.  The device your using also has an effect. Mechanical mods for instance running at sub ombs will greatly reduce the amount of nicotine you need in your ejuice.

What is propylene glycol (PG)?

Wikipedia or other reference sites can give you the full lowdown on PG. You will find it in many foods, medicines, and toiletries, so you are already consuming it on a daily basis. "Smoke" at concerts and such is created by vaporizing PG/VG. It is "generally recognized as safe" to inhale by the FDA. A small portion of the population is allergic to PG, however.

What if I'm allergic to propylene glycol?

A small portion of the population is allergic to PG. The symptoms are usually throat irritation and/or ulcers in the mouth. Most people who have this allergy are already aware due to PG's prevalence in everyday foods and toiletries. However, a person can develop an allergy to something at any time in life.

Vegetable glycerin (VG) liquids are available but all liquids contain some form of PG usually since most flavours are derived of PG bases, A VG base reduces throat hit but does not translate flavour as well as a PG/VG mix.  Max VG for instance will give less throat hit, less flavour, but a lot of vapor.

Am I vaping too much?

It is possible to vape too much, but its hard to do for most people.  It is possible to get light head or get a stomach ache, if this happens just stop vaping until it subsides or vape a less milligram nicotine ejuice.

What flavours will i like?

There are many flavours of ejuice to choose from.  Each has their own taste and everyone's preference is different, something you like, your friend may not and visa-versa.  We suggest you always buy ejuice bottles in smaller quantities to make sure you like them!

What is Steeping?

Steeping is a process in which the contents of an eJuice are mixed.  There are several different ways to steep Eliquids and it is recommended you steep your ejuice before you vape it for best taste

What is the best method of steeping?

There are many methods you can use for steeping such as shaking with a machine or by hand, a hot water bath or letting it sit in a dark place for a period of time.  There is also a process called "breathing" which is sometimes required but not in most cases.  We recommend that the best way to steep is to put it in a dark place like a drawer at room temperature for the recommended amount of time.

How long should i steep my eJuice for?

The recommended amount of time to steep you eliquids varies.  For fruits, candies and menthols its usually good in 1-2 weeks but will get even better in time.  Sometimes these can even be ready to vape right away depending on the mix.  Deserts and Custards can take a lot longer, it is usually recommended that they be steeped for 2-4 weeks at least for best taste.  E-Juice is like a fine wine, they usually get better with age up until a certain point which is usually beyond six months.

Can eJuice go bad or spoil?

Yes, the most common way we found that E-liquids will spoil is if you leave it in a very hot place for a long time like your car in the summer time, or if you expose it to sun for an extended period of time like on a window sill.  It is recommended that you always keep your eJuices in a dark place until they are ready to be used.
